GSK released its 2022 results, highlighting a 19% year-on-year increase in revenues that it attributes in part to high demand for its shingles vaccine, Shingrix.
Vodafone has announced its holding to its guidance for the full year, after reporting a 0.4% fall in group revenue during the third quarter. UK figures were up, with the hit coming from elsewhere in Europe.
Shares in Sainsbury’s have risen this morning after Bestway Group increased its stake in the food retailer for the second time in as many weeks.
The tech sector continues to show signs of struggling, with PayPal becoming the latest to cut jobs in a bid to reduce costs. Its laying off 2,000 staff, which is around 7% of its global workforce.
And in small caps, e-commerce tech firm Zamaz rose 3% after announcing a board room reshuffle.
