What keeps people suffering from mental health conditions from getting the treatment they need? In this episode I explore some of the complicated reasons using emotional stories as well as the latest research. You will hear some of the creative ways some people are working to overcome barriers facing men, minorities, and others who are under-identified and under-treated in the mental health world. I also address my own privilege and the role it has played in my receiving good mental health treatment.
