Renowned Ocean Scientist, Founder of Ulwazi Scientific Communications and STEM Researcher, Dr Kolisa Yola Sinyanya on her life story, career, being a healer and future plans. She has a PhD in Ocean Biogeochemistry at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, she is the founder and Director of Ulwazi Scientific Communications and STEM Research, an international research and consulting company headquartered in Cape Town South Africa. Her PhD work intricately examined biogeochemical cycling in the Southern Indian Ocean. She was recently honoured with by SAIMI as the winner of the Pioneer in Research & Innovation award amongst other awards.
