This is a special transitional episode as I am changing the name and focus of my podcast from M.P.I. Radio to The Performance & Productivity Podcast.
The reason is because Performance & Productivity doesn't need to be explained, it has far better SEO potential, and it aligns more with my message.
This episode is for all of the people who have listened to my podcast/show up until now as a treat and a thank you from me to you.
(you know who you are)
In this episode, I will explain in more detail my reasoning for changing the podcast name along with a compilation of some of my favorite guest M.P.I.'s.
As a final note, I encourage you to ask yourself this question, "What is the massive positive impact that I want to see, create, or be a part of in this world?"
Spend time with that question and really think about it. Once you find your unique answer, get out there and work towards it.
My hope is that M.P.I. Radio has inspired you to live a more amplified life and that you have received great value from the episodes.
I will still be interviewing awesome individuals, sharing short and concise episodes with you. However, everything from here on out will be geared toward productivity and performance.
I'm looking forward to what's next and am so deeply grateful for you being a listener.
Thank you.

Having a clear vision is profoundly important for anything in life.
If you can see it in your mind, there is no way you can achieve it down the road.
What's as, if not more important as having a clear vision, is knowing why that vision is so important to you.
Here's a great exercise to support you in finding your why in a very short period of time.
It's called "7 Levels Deep" and this is explained in detail in Dean Graziosi's bestseller, "Millionaire Success Habits".
Now, you can do this on your own or with a friend.
Make sure you do it with someone who is highly supportive of you and your dreams.
Imagine your vision, and ask yourself this simple question...
Why?
Why is that idea, business, impact, income, etc. so important to you?
Write down your answer if you're alone, or have your friend write it down.
Then ask "why" again.
Why is that answer so important?
With every answer to the question "Why?" ask "Why" again.
Do this for 7 repetitions.
(i.e. 7 Levels Deep)
The first 3-4 answers will come from your logical mind and will not have as much emotion involved.
After that, you get to the real emotions.
By the time you get to 7 times, you should be crying, or at least very emotional.
You want a Why that makes you cry.
After 7 repetitions, you've found your true why.
That is your driving force.
Your lighthouse.
That's what will fuel your fire all the way to your own version of "success".

I recently had the honor of interviewing a friend of mine, Clifford Starks.
This man has enjoyed quite a ride and doesn't look like he is slowing down anytime soon. Cliff is a former fat kid that turned into a UFC fighter and is now a Competitive Edge Specialist, Author, and Entrepreneur.
He had a dream of making it to the UFC and told his coach he wanted to do it in a year. His coach told him it was crazy and that it would take him at least 3 years, but believed in him anyway. Cliff made it to the UFC in only 10 months.
Stark's biggest job is empowering others to raise the bar and take action on their biggest dreams using his 'Power of Six' method.
Cliff's M.P.I. is to influence 1 BILLION people to look within and create the reality they would love to create.

FREE WORKSHOP: 3 Keys To Define and Build Your Dreams Faster - https://www.jamesallencoaching.com/workshop
Procrastination is one of the main things that will kill your dreams.
Roughly 75% of humans are genuine artists at procrastinating.
20% are chronic procrastinators!
The dictionary definition of procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something.
The keyword in that definition is ACTION.
By you pushing off the thing you know you need to accomplish, you're taking an action step!
However, to succeed, we want those action steps to be in service of what we actually want.
Today, I'm sharing with you How to Overcome Procrastination in 2 Simple Steps:
Step #1) Reconnect with your vision
By having a crystal clear vision of what we truly want, we have power.
Something to work towards and to live for that lights us up inside.
Because if you're going to go for something, make it be what you would love.
The clearer your vision is, the more power you have.
When you find yourself procrastinating, notice your thoughts.
Why are you pushing this task off?
Is it because you genuinely don't want to take the action?
Are you scared?
Or is it because you're not working towards something you actually want?
When you have a clearly defined vision, coupled with a powerful reason for working towards that (i.e. your why) you realize that by NOT taking this action, your dream will never come true.
Dreams work when you do.
So by reconnecting with that vision, you remember why taking this action is so important, and that makes overcoming procrastination so much easier.
Step #2) Take an inspired action step
Now that you have reminded yourself why it's so important for you to take this action step,
It's time to take the action!
Remember this...
There is always an action you can take.
So don't let yourself off the hook here and say, "There's nothing I can do!"
If you're ever stuck on what step to take next, ask yourself the ultimate action step question.
"What can I do, with what I have, from where I am?"
By asking yourself this question, answers will naturally come up from inside of you.
The answers with the most electricity (meaning you just KNOW to your core that it could work) are the ones you should take.
People procrastinate because they're afraid of failing when fear and failure are prerequisites for success!
The way to overcome that fear is by taking inspired action.
Use these 2 simple steps to overcome procrastination when you're building your dream and watch as your dreams start becoming reality right before your eyes.

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed with all of the things you have to focus on in life?
Moving from your business or work to spending time with family and friends but still thinking about work?
It can feel like balancing on a ball while juggling sometimes.
As High-Performers, we do a lot.
And we want to excel in what we do, which can lead to overwhelm at times.
So what do we do?
Remember that High Performers are highly intentional with their actions.
They set a clear intention before they do something.
Here's a practice for you:
When making a transition... (i.e. going from work to family, family to work, gym to friends, etc.)
PAUSE.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Set your intention by saying...
"I'm about to go do (x). Who do I want to be while I do this?"
PRO TIP: Always come from your best self.
Ask yourself...
"What would the best version of myself do right now?"
"How would they show up?"
John Burrough said, "The smallest deed is better than the greatest intention."
Meaning...
Take action on your intentions.
BE that person.
When you set an intention, you are setting a commitment to act in a certain way.
It takes planning and clarity.
And when you set your intention...
Fall in love with that intention.
When we fall in love with an intention it means that we energize it; we pay attention to it.
This creates a magnetic pull in the Universe, which draws back life unto it, according to the amount of energy in your intention.
Where energy goes, energy flows.
By making these micro-intentions throughout your day, you will find yourself being more present, alert, focused, and determined to show up at your best more consistently.

Have you ever heard someone say,
"All of the answers are inside of you."?
And you think...
"Well, if the answers were inside of me, why can't I find them!?"
Truth is...
The answers really ARE inside of you!
You just need to know how to access them.
Thing is...
It's difficult to find your answers purely on a conscious level.
The REAL answers lie in your unconscious mind.
"Ok... So how do I find em?"
Here's How To Find Your Answers:
1. Start by generating state
Your answers lie in a different energetic state.
We want to match our vibration (energy) with our vision.
Consider this...
Have you ever made a good decision in anger, fear, or frustration?
Typically no.
When we are in a more positive state, we can access better answers.
To get into a positive state,
Write down 10 things you are grateful for, or that you deeply appreciate in your life right now.
Then write down something you are proud of or a big win that you had recently.
When you do this, really FEEL the gratitude and the thing(s) you are proud of.
Gratitude puts you on the frequency of possibility.
2. Consider the quality of the question
If you want better answers, ask better questions.
Look at these questions...
"How am I ever going to make it through next month?"
V.S.
"How could I travel to Italy in the next six months and make $10,000 doing it?"
Do you see the difference?
One is clear and has exact numbers.
One is vague and unclear.
Better questions get better answers...
Just like Google.
One more thing...
Focus on asking WHAT and HOW questions, not WHY questions.
WHY questions come from logic, patterns of the past, and victimhood.
Not our intuition.
Which is where your inspired action steps lie.
3. Become aware that the mind of the Infinite has an answer for every question
Call it Life, God, The Universe, Spirit, The Force, Soul-Force, etc.
There are bigger forces at play than you alone.
And that power that blows the wind, opens a flower and beats your heart has the answers to your questions.
That same power is within you.
So adopt the belief that you really do have the answers inside of yourself and practice being open to them.
When you do, they will come.
