Program Guyz Podcast

Ep134 Is in the books! The Oklahoma Sooners are 16th in the coaches poll. How is Texas (AKA TEX) #4? The guyz break that down along with the wide receiver room and the offensive line. Who is your WR#1 for the year? Is it Nic Anderson? Deion Burks? Is Andrel Anthony going to come back and make a splash? Who is your sneaker pick as a WR to bring the heat? The rumor is that our offensive line is going to struggle, but after the Guyz break everyone down, we feel better about the group. In Bill B we trust.

The Sooners are on the field practicing now, so we figured it's a good time to breakdown the roster as it currently stands. Who are the starters? Who can contribute? Who is gonna be looking for playing time in garbage time? We discuss all this and more in this episode with the QBs, RBs and TEs. We will do WRs and OL in the next episode before we switch over to defense!

Episode 132 of the Program Guyz Podcast is HERE and it's a good one for you. The Guyz open up with a discussion around the commitment of 2025 defensive tackle Floyd-Dawens Boucard and what he'll bring to the defensive line room, before diving into the recruiting landscape around offensive linemen. 2026 guard Noah Best has been predicted to commit to OU, but the big focus is on Michael Fasusi and Andrew Babalola.

Next, the fellas talk about the generous $20M gift given to OU Athletics by the Kimrey Family, and how we're looking for a Wealthy OU Alumni arms race as we rocket towards the SEC. We recap and consider the 2024 OU Lady's Clinic put on by Coach Venables' foundation, then Matt provides some updates on OU basketball after a couple of big commits hit this past week.

Last, and never least, the Guyz give their MVPz of the week. If you enjoy the show, like and subscribe to the page! Share us with a friend! The Program is only as strong as we all are.

We're back with all five of the Guyz as we start off the show with some recruiting talk. Two new commitments to break down and we chat about that. We also go over three new crystal ball predictions from recruiting insiders and discuss just how different these recruiting sites really are when it comes to ranking players. Kevin Sperry ranks 10th and 9th on the two days of the Elite 11 QB Competition... not ideal. We then talk some NBA, softball and round out the show with our MVPs. Like and subscribe!

We know Jackson Arnold will lead the Sooners into the SEC, but is he the right QB for the job? We debate if OU should have tried their best to keep Dillon Gabriel on the roster and try to ride it out one more year with DG into the SEC.

PattiyGasso and her set of incredible seniors closed out a fourth straight national championship on Thursday, and Matt and Mark couldn't wait til next week to discuss. Matt opens the conversation with a recap of the Womens College World Series matchup against Texas and the Guyz go deep on the impact moments, decisions, and players that made the game. We take a step back to appreciate the four years of dominance by Oklahoma's Class of 2024 seniors, try to explain how to compare this dynastic run to others in sports, and pause for a moment to discuss Patty Gasso's future in Norman.
