Progress 4 Tomorrow

This is the concluding edition of this 3 part presentation. We basically pick up where we left off in part two.

The church does represent a "BIG-PROBLEM"! Hopefully, this series will help us better understand how to deal with this problem...

In part 2 of 3, we pick up where we left off in part 1.

With that said, we continue to "dig-deep" into western Christianity and it's many contradictions
which have led to it's "inevitable" failure in our society etc. But, is it too late to repair the damage that has been done?

Most people who've listened to previous episodes are well aware of just how I feel about the church, IT'S A PROBLEM!

In today's 21st century world, we could only hope that things would get better, but they've only gotten worse (as depicted in the episode picture).

The church has become more like a corporate business and has failed the central figure it was "supposed" to emulate...

With that said, "What Do We Do About It???" We will vigorously attempt to answer that very question in this 3 part presentation.

LET'S GO GET-IT FOLKS!

In part 2 of 3, we pick up the discussion from where we left off in part 1.
If we're going to "effectively" defeat "madness", we MUST use the right "METHODS".
You cannot "fight" madness, you have to diminish and defeat it...

When the idea for this program was conceived, we thought that AG Merrick Garland had a "METHOD" to his "MADNESS." However (with the efforts against voter suppression withstanding), it appears that more madness would follow.

Nonetheless, we decided to discuss some of the "METHODS" we see used by progressives in our struggle against the dark forces of the GOP. Are we using the RIGHT-METHODS to deal with the "MADNESS" of the Republican party and their "RIGHT-WING" agenda?

The one thing we can guarantee is that after listening to this 3 part series, you will have a better understanding of what we feel is necessary to "DEFLATE" an enemy that has weaponized LIES AND HOT-AIR!

In part two we discussed teachers of the "Word of Faith" movement which many biblical scholars would referred to their methods as "extra-biblical-revelations". This goes beyond the pale of traditional protestant orthodoxy, and has been considered heretical.

However, what happens when a well-known "bible-only" teacher begins to advocate and strongly embrace a revelation regarding "The End of The World". We'll discuss the claims of Mr. Harold Camping from the late 90s and into the millennium. Camping claimed that the bible itself "guaranteed" the very date of the end....

In part two, we pick up where we began to discuss what was deemed a crisis that hit Western Christianity like a "ton-of-bricks" in the 80s and gathered strength due to the scandals mentioned earlier in part one.

Enter "The Word-Faith Movement" or "The-Name-It-Claim-it-Gospel." This movement gave rise to a lineage of televangelists unlike the world has ever seen (and will never see again-hopefully). This movement was referred to as "Another Gospel" by most mainstream theologians and biblical scholars.

The connection to today? They're all supporters of "The Clown"! Especially, Paula White who has been called DT's spiritual advisor.

In all honesty and personally, the question is "moot"! In fact, we all pretty much know what went wrong, EVERYTHING!

Nonetheless, we will re-count the scandalous incidents of 1987 where several "well-known" televangelist were literally caught with their pants-down....
