Is it better to believe a comforting lie or the painful truth?
In this episode of Progress Theory, I explore how our beliefs shape the way we interpret reality, why painful interpretations can disguise themselves as truth, and how empowering beliefs can become delusional when they disconnect from reality.
The goal is not to lie to yourself or worship the harshest interpretation just because it feels honest. The goal is to choose beliefs that are grounded in reality while still helping you grow, take action, and create a better life.

Progress Theory is a podcast about what it actually takes for a human being to change and transform.
How do you build real emotional strength when you feel weak, reactive, or controlled by your emotions?
In this episode of Progress Theory, I explore why emotional weakness is not a fixed identity, but an underdeveloped capacity. Real emotional strength is not about suppressing what you feel. It is the ability to experience fear, shame, loneliness, rejection, or pain without letting those emotions dictate your behavior.
I also describe the frame and exercise I have been using in my own life to turn every negative emotion into an opportunity to build emotional resolve.

This episode explores one of the most painful questions many of us will ever face:
Why do some people live their entire lives enslaved to addiction, while others break free?
In this episode, I break down the deeper psychological mechanisms underlying addictive behavior, including:
Addiction is rarely just about the behavior itself. More often, it is an attempt to medicate suffering, numb emotional pain, or escape an internal reality that feels unbearable.
Whether your addiction manifests as substances, pornography, social media, food, work, validation, or some other compulsive behavior, I hope this episode helps you better understand both yourself and the path toward genuine freedom.

How do you learn from others without losing your autonomy?
In this episode of Progress Theory, I explore one of the hardest parts of growth: how to stay open to guidance without letting other people take over your thinking. I break down the dangers of learning from too many sources, resisting useful advice because of ego, and following someone else blindly just because they seem credible. The goal of this episode is to help you build a better process for learning--one that keeps you open, critical, and ultimately responsible for your own life.
