Progressive House UK

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain, QUiNTESSON, speaking.

Allow me to take you on a journey, beginning with Australian producer, Luka Sambe's 'People, Be Nice', one of my favourite productions of this year (what a melody!). Continuing on with deep and tribal sounds from Jamie Stevens, August Artier, Gab Rhome and Boogie Vice before I barrel roll into Anden - 'Brookland' (just wait for the drop!).

I glide into some deeper melodies like Lucefora - Harmonica and Prismode & Solvane - 'Acheron' - 2 beautiful productions that have this timeless feel to it.

We make our final ascent into a monster track of 2019, Jamie Stevens - A Bird in The Hand. What a release from Bedrock Records! Jamie, a key member of live act, Infusion, has been on fire! Carving a name for himself as one of Australia's finest electronic producers. 'A Bird in The Hand' is a prime example and my favourite track of 2019.

Finally, I leave you with ALT -'Things We Lost In The Fire' - remembering the victims and their families who have been struck by the devastation left by the recent bushfires in Australia.

Love and Prayers. Q

This mix travels through the darker end of the her house & techno sound. Far from a mix of bangers though as CANDY skillfully weaves through the more melodic and emotion side of her style. Another great mix complementing the PHUK resident soundscape.

This was my entry to LNOE Traktor Mix Competition Oct/ Nov 2019. I tried to create a mix that is original, has an underground and international sound and using original acapella / snippets I made and edited just for this mix. Although I was aware the 'world and his dog' would enter the competition, it's still good to have some parameters to work in for a change and enter into the spirit of competition and testing yourself. Hope you enjoy the homage to the 90's start complete with classic track as the intro.

Dave Furneaux has been dj'ing for over 20 years and as soon as you hear this mix you'll know why. Dave's mixing & track selection has always been extremely precise and beautifully consistent throughout his Dj'ing career.

On this mix you'll feel his assured guided control through moody rhythms and spaced out grooves leading you safely along. As tracks build and break you get the sense that he's just teasing you, toying with you to listen to more and be lead further into the soundscape he's creating. Look out for more from Dave Furneaux, no one sees him coming.
