It finally happened. The previous occupier of the White House is indicted by a NY grand jury regarding hush money payments to Stormy Daniels. Although, compared to his other cases going he's investigated for this seems like the lesser offence but it's the first to get the ball rolling of actual accountability. This episode covers a timeline of events and possible outcomes regarding the breaking news dropped last week.
Midterms are upon us, and it is neither a blue nor a red wave but a fight for a close tie of Congress. I focus on the battle states and how some senators and representatives got there. Republicans are infighting about the turnout and questioning about the party's future with Trump.

September of this year, Texas passed a law that questioned the Supreme Court decision of Roe v Wade. A Supreme Court with newly appointed Justices by the previous president didn't try to block the law but said it can be challenged. The actions after the bill passed set a precedent throughout the country of what other states can pass to question rulings while other lawmakers are writing their bills to challenge Texas.
This summer Critical Race Theory was a trending term. A topic about racial history being taught in school was the forefront of the news as, hateful, Republican lawmakers passed legislation to remove it out of public education. This is the beginning of white-washing U.S. racial history. This podcast alone is about structural racism of the United States and this episode outlines other attempts at white-washing and the consequences of nations forgetting their past and sugar coating atrocities. It's a short episode but imperative.
The evacuation of Afghanistan shows how little went to helping the country and it's civilians. This episode covers the extraction of Afghanistan and the answer to the ultimate question to what happened the last twenty years for everything to fall apart? From private military companies getting paid and their agenda, to corruption money indirectly going to the Taliban and pardons last year that increased their numbers, many factors played against the civilians in this war torn country.
Progressive Outlook is back and with another episode about the history and current events of Israel and Palestine. It's a little later from May 27th but it's never too late. America, don't be anti-semitic or anti-muslim, you can be critical of governments but no one should ever be targeted of any hate.
