What a great vacation to San Diego! Great food, family time and animals galore at the safari park and zoo. Nowadays you can stumble across all sorts of wild and crazy stuff thanks to the internet, but 30 years ago that wasn't the case. This week I've decided to share a story about the time I discovered a box of Playboy's in the woods near my childhood apartment. Remember to work hard, stay positive and things will work out for the best. Your mother and I love you all dearly!

Dear Kid,

We had a great Easter day and most importantly we carried on the tradition and memory of grandma Susan. I made the clues a bit harder this year and we all enjoyed the hunt in a larger home. Your mother and I feel so blessed to have all of you in our lives. Continue stay connected with one another, love and laugh with each other as often as possible. We love you all and we'll talk next week!

Dear kids,

Great week with Rex attending his first few days of high school. Lyon has a slight fever and Nala continues to be so helpful. The weather heated up and the pool pump stopped working, which meant we couldn't cool off. I caught myself complaining about the heat and was reminded of a story where I had to shovel off tennis courts in high school. Mom and I love you little nugget butts soooooo much!

It was a wild day when a patio umbrella took flight, flew over an eight foot wall and landed in our pool. Thankfully none of my babies were hurt. Back to school Shopping was entertaining trying to find clothes for Rex's lanky behind. Finally kids, never be a telemarketer! Your mother and I love you and pray you're remembering to enjoy the little victories you earn in life.
