The T-REX Innovation Center is located in downtown St Louis and is the home of hundreds of companies, many of them startups and geospatial innovators. Find out more about what the T-REX is and who they are through our discussion with T-REX Executive Director Dr. Patricia Hagen.
St Louis, Missouri - Project Geospatial is excited to announce a partnership with the T-REX Innovation Center in Downtown St Louis, Missouri. This partnership allows Project Geospatial to expand their operations and produce even more engaging content covering the latest developments in the geospatial industry with emphasis on innovation in the St Louis ecosystem.
Join us as we “Uncover the Metaverse” to understand what it is and how it is being used from experts at Maxar who have been working to take the geospatial industry into a new immersive ecosystem. Talking with us is Josh Winer, Senior Director of Global Sales and Sydney Cortez, Project Manager on Strategic Partners.
Project Geospatial had the pleasure of covering a series of insightful panels at the T-REX Innovation Center organized by Riverside Research.
Join us as we learn more about synthetic data with a discussion with Rendered.AI's COO and Head of Product, Chris Andrews. Throughout the discussion you will learn some of benefits of synthetic data as it applies to overhead imagery and machine learning as we demystify the topic. Rendered.AI operates a platform of the same name as a Service for data scientists, engineers, and developers who need to create and deploy unlimited, customized synthetic data pipelines for #ML and #AI workflows, reducing expense, closing gaps, and overcoming bias compared with using real-world data.
Rendered.ai moves the process of creating and exploiting synthetic data closer to the business need by providing a configuration environment, samples, and cloud resources to quickly get started defining new data generation channels, creating datasets in high performance compute environments, and providing tools to characterize and catalog existing and synthetic datasets. Over 90% of the customer interest in Rendered.ai comes from the Earth Observation domain, with focus on aerial and satellite visible, multispectral, and radar imagery and we have integrated with ArcGIS services to allow customer to use scalable GIS data to build synthetic environments. Synthetic data produced in Rendered.ai can be used for computer vision training and validation across many industries.
Rendered.ai focuses on a single line of business around subscription offerings of our PaaS, coupled with as-needed professional services. Our subscription offerings are available in multiple tiers, primarily differentiated by compute access, and can be supplemented or extended through enterprise agreements.

In this second episode of "Geosaurus Unleashed: From Maps to Metaverse," four experts from various fields come together to discuss the latest developments in AI/ML. David Huberdeau, AI/ML Research Scientist at Riverside Research, shares his insights on the use of AI/ML for image recognition and classification in geospatial mapping. Timothy Seims, Program Manager and St Louis Operations Lead at Reinventing Geospatial Inc, talks about the integration of AI/ML with geospatial data to enhance situational awareness and decision-making.
In this segment we have the pleasure of speaking with Pete Morrison for a deep dive into the topic of the Metaverse getting his insights of what it is and how he defines it for the defense industry. Pete Morrison is co-founder and chief product officer at BISim. He is an evangelist for the use of game technologies and other COTS-type products and software in the simulation and training industry. Pete studied computer science and management at the Australian Defence Force Academy and graduated with first-class honors. He also graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, into the Royal Australian Signals Corp. He served as a Signals Corp Officer for several years. His final posting was as a Project Officer in the Australian Defence Simulation Office (ADSO).
Join Kevin Corbley and Adam Simmons as they prepare for GEOINT 2023. They dive into the theme, Maps to Metaverse, attempting to decipher its meaning and offer tips for effective marketing at the symposium that could help if you are attending.
