A self proclaimed “Renaissance Woman,” Van Nguyen is the Co-Organizer and Community Director of the PNW Biohackers Collective. Van has a B.S. in Nursing from West Coast University and a background in Marketing and Public Relations for firms in Beverly Hills, CA. She enjoys connecting and coaching other young women, especially those who are facing obstacles—as she herself is no stranger to physical, mental or emotional challenges.
Growing up in a Vietnamese family, there were expectations for Van to follow the traditional role of a Vietnamese woman. But when Van ventured beyond the limits of these expectations, she experienced betrayal and was even disowned by her family. In this episode, Van describes the heartache of these, and other, experiences—and what propelled her to push forward and move through the pain, into what she describes as her “Revival”.

Rachel Stephenson has worked around horses and coffee her entire life. She is the owner of Northern Light Coffee and Co-founder of CrossRoads Youth Ranch. In addition to barrel racing and training horses—and owning a successful business—Rachel is dedicated to creating awareness for the issue of human trafficking and offering aid to sexually exploited youth.
Before Rachel was offering hope and healing to others, she was struggling to find healing for herself. In this episode, Rachel talks about how she suppressed her own trauma for years before her eyes were opened to the reality of human trafficking during an overseas mission trip—how she channeled that shocking awareness into supportive action.

Maggie McQueen is a successful real estate agent, a dedicated mother and fitness enthusiast.
She is involved in making her community a better place, and Maggie is passionate about advocating for domestic violence awareness. By all appearances, Maggie is a well rounded woman with the perfect balance of family, community and work life and she is “getting better everyday”.
However, her path to success was anything but easy. Before she was selling people their dream homes, Maggie was homeless and trying to escape a life of terror and abuse. In this episode, Maggie describes the situation she and her children endured for years, until she had to make a decision from which she knew there was no turning back.
