Introducing... Bonus episodes! Since season two's episodes integrate multiple voices into one short segment, complete interviews from interviews are not released. However, select guest interviews will be chosen by popular demand to be featured as bonus episodes.  

This first bonus is the interview Sofia Feliciano (host of @sofisticatedpod) and I conducted with Joe Smith, the Advocacy Director at Loaves and Fishes. Joe was featured on Season 2 Episode 2, in our discussion centering around homelessness.

Tune in to our conversation to educate yourself about what the day to day looks like for individuals experiencing homelessness, and to learn about the steps we can take to help alleviate this crisis.

This episode is a little bit different. In collaboration with Sofia Feliciano, the host of @sofisticatedpod, I had the pleasure of interviewing Joe Smith, the Advocacy Director of Loaves and Fishes who experienced homelessness firsthand for several years, and Simone Thomas, the Director of Programs at Wind Youth Services. We put this episode together in January of 2021 after a major storm significantly impacted those experiencing homelessness in downtown Sacramento. 

We are also honored that this episode was recognized by NPR in 2021 as one of the top 200 podcast episodes in the annual Student Podcast Challenge.
