Michele Henry is a Civil Rights Lawyer running for Indiana State House in Floyd County. Michele has been fighting for the underdog for years in her job and now is ready to make our laws better protect Hoosiers. It's time corporations, the super wealthy, and those in power not listening to us have some competition. This is a purple county. A Dem could flip this seat. It was formerly held by Ed Clere, a well respected Republican who is now an Independent. However, Ed stated recently that he didn't leave this party, this Indiana Republican Party left him. This seat is now WIDE open. Let's vote in someone who will also represent the Hoosiers in this area. Yesterday in New Albany, Democratic candidates for Indiana’s 9th Congressional District came together for a debate at The Grand.

The event, hosted by the District 9 Democrats and moderated by Mayor Treva Hodges, gave voters a chance to hear directly from the candidates about the issues that matter most—here in Southern Indiana and beyond.

Among those on stage was Dr. Tim Peck—emergency room physician, congressional candidate, and co-founder of Project Next—sharing his perspective alongside the other Democratic candidates in the race.
