The ancient jewish prophet Ezekiel prophesied of a coming alliance between the the modern day nations of Russia and Iran. Ezekiel 38:2 talks about Gog of the land Magog (that would be modern day Russia) leading a coalition of nations agains the Jewish state of Israel. Iran is mentioned in Ezekiel 38:5 where it is referred to as Persia. The scriptures say that Iran will join a host of other Islamic nations who will come against Israel. As we see the strengthening of the ties between Russia and Iran, we realize that the stage is being set for this prophetic scenario to begin.

As David mentioned in his report, there is a controversy surrounding who owns the land in Israel. Although the debate may continue in modern times , we know that God promised the land of Israel to the Jewish people in Deuteronomy chapter 30. This passage, also know as the Land Covenant, is actually only part of the land that the Bible calls for the Jewish nation. There are actually 83 passages in God's word that reveals what God has promised the Jewish people and its 10 times what they have today. The Jewish people have never completely occupied the borders promised to them by God but we know that they will in the future. God will keep His promise to the Jewish people.
