Halloween is one of the most celebrated holidays of the year. Children get to play their favorite characters and gorge on candy. While Halloween is a holiday centered around fear and scary themes, current events have become the stuff of nightmares. Particularly when they involve children. 

In areas where criminals operate, children become the most vulnerable. The southern border has seen a lot of children being abused by human traffickers. This vicious cycle of criminal acts continues when children are not given the opportunity to overcome their trauma and receive proper guidance and education.
