Over the weekend, hundreds of protesters gathered in Pickering right outside of Ontario finance minister Peter Bethlenfalvy's office calling on the Ford government to protect land on the Greenbelt. The Ford government said it will follow 14 of the 15 recommendations in the auditor general's report. The one recommendation it has not agreed to follow is to revisit the land swaps and potentially reverse course on the Greenbelt plans.
