Last night, Pastor Chad began week two of our sermon series on Proverbs by delving into the topic of wisdom.

Proverbs, recognized as one of the wisdom books in the Bible, describes wisdom in chapter eight as “better than rubies.”

So, what exactly is wisdom? Wisdom is the skill of navigating life with understanding, recognizing that all aspects of life are interconnected. It equips us to successfully navigate challenges and make decisions with insight. Wisdom goes beyond knowing right from wrong; it is the strength and resolve to do what is right, even when it’s difficult.

God desires for us to walk in His wisdom and live a life of purpose and success. We can gain wisdom by seeking counsel from our elders, immersing ourselves in His Word, and, most importantly, cultivating a vibrant relationship with Jesus.
