In each of our lives, we can look back and see the faithfulness of God. As we studied the life of Joseph, we saw that it was only by relying on God’s faithfulness that he was able to keep going. In our first session of the 2026 PC3 Spring Retreat, we walked through Joseph’s story and were reminded that we don’t have to be defined by our circumstances.

We often make promises we fail to keep. We say we will hang out and never do, forget to respond to messages, or promise to pray and forget. But in Malachi 2, we see that God never forgets or lets up on His promises. This passage is not meant to shame us into trying harder. It points us to Jesus, the only one who perfectly kept the covenant.

Marriage is a picture, but it is not the destination. It is meant to shape our hearts for our ultimate hope: eternal life with God. Revelation 21 reminds us that God's future is renewal, not replacement. He is not abandoning what He made. He is restoring it. The way we live and love now reveals where our hope truly is.

When you look in a mirror, you see a reflection of yourself. It shows you how you actually look, the food on your face, the tired eyes, whatever is really going on. Marriage has a similar effect. It reflects who you are on the inside, which is why it is so important to understand who you are now and who you are becoming before you get married.

This week, we looked at Isaiah 56, where the Lord gives special attention to these men.
