Some of these examples of faith would seem to be from the inter-testimonial period, demonstrating that true faith remains loyal to Christ even in the face of persecution and the absence of direct revelation from God.

The wisdom of God and of the wisdom of the world are compared and contrasted.

Joseph, by giving directions for the disposition of his earthly remains, demonstrated the strength of his faith in God's promises to Israel.

Faith in Christ is not just pie in the sky by and by. Those who are in Christ already possess great riches.
