Eric & Drew take time to address @TheOtherPaul's response to a recent Twitter kerfuffle where they quoted Ronnie Rogers' "Does God Love All or Some?" and got a lot of pushback. They also respond to Edgar and Edwin of @scholasticismreformed166 as they critique their debate with Dr. Feighton Lowers. Eric and Drew talk about the Gospel's effect on the unregenerate on Calvinism in the context of Rogers' quote. They compare a quote from John Calvin and ask if even Calvin was consistent with denying God was the author of sin. Eric highlights the difference between an assertion and making a cogent argument for determinism. Eric & Drew cover additional context from Rogers' quote and discuss whether anything can be meaningfully influential towards faith and repentance on Calvinism. They talk about the lose-lose situation of the James White-like critique of "arguing backwards" and "jumping around" in the Bible. Drew briefly explains the Calvinistic error that is often made about "adoption" in Ephesians 1:5 and Eric highlights the contextual problems that Calvinists have to overcome to make their case for unconditional election in Ephesians 1. Drew closes by explaining the Provisionist perspective on 1 John 2:2 and John 17 as Jesus speaks of "not praying for the world" and John talks about for whose sins Christ died.

Warren ‪@IdolKiller‬ McGrew joins Eric and Drew after having recently come under fire by Marlon Wilson of ‪@tgtengage‬ The Gospel Truth and James White (among many others) for his critique of the Reformed doctrine of infant damnation, comparing the doctrine to the spirit behind ancient worshipers of the baal god, Molech. Eric offers some pushback for Warren and they all discuss whether controversial, incendiary rhetoric is helpful or hurtful in these kinds of discussions. Drew offers a challenge for online engagement and asks the question of how much Biblical conflict resolution from Matthew 18:15-20 applies to this situation.
