This is Day Twenty‑One of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. This episode centers on who the Holy Spirit is and what it means to be a witness of Christ Jesus, empowered by Him. The Holy Spirit is God, the Third Person of the Trinity, the holy breath and life of God who indwells believers, gives power and ability, and glorifies Jesus Christ.
In Acts 1:8 (AMP) Yeshua promises that when the Holy Spirit comes upon His disciples, they will receive power and be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. To be His witness is to testify to who He is and what He has done, to live as evidence of His resurrection, and to remain faithful to that testimony even when it is costly. This same Spirit‑empowered witness is seen in Moses before Pharaoh, in David singing by the Spirit, and in the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel, whose lives and words testified to God’s covenant and kingdom. Jesus now gathers this whole story into one promise: the same Spirit rests on all who believe in Him, making us living witnesses of His resurrection in every generation.
Today we thank the Father for giving the Holy Spirit and we welcome Him afresh. Our desire is to live as Spirit‑filled witnesses of Christ Jesus in this generation, speaking from encounter with Him, standing as signs of His covenant love, and carrying His gospel wherever He sends us.
Prayer and Reflection Scriptures (AMP)

8 But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.’”
2 Samuel 23:2 (AMP) “The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue.”

There is One true God, the Creator of all things, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is One God and One Spirit Who has redeemed us all. I am Mathew Sekanjako, a believer in Christ Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach), the one Son of God. I serve and confess God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This intercession is offered in faith, in obedience, and in love, for all who will listen.
