This is Day Six of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. This episode centers on God-given gifts and calling, reminding us that gifts do not come from human ability, training, or effort, but from God Himself. Scripture reveals that God calls by name, fills by His Spirit, and equips according to His purpose. What He assigns, He empowers.
From Bezalel in Exodus to Timothy in the New Testament, we see that gifts are divinely given, meant to be stirred and stewarded, and never withdrawn. Failure, delay, or weakness does not cancel divine calling. What God gives, He entrusts.
These reflections lead us into prayer, inviting us to recognize what God has placed within us, to steward it faithfully, and to walk boldly in the calling He has given.
Prayer & Reflection Scriptures (AMP)
Exodus 31:1–6
1 Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
3 I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,
4 to create artistic designs, to work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,
5 and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in carving of wood, so that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship.
6 And behold, I have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all who are wise-hearted, that they may make all that I have commanded you.”
Exodus 35:30–35
30 Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
31 He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship,
32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver, and bronze,
33 in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, to do every kind of artistic work.
34 He has also put in Bezalel’s heart the ability to teach, as well as in Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work of the engraver, of the designer, and of the embroiderer in blue, purple, and scarlet fabric, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, of those who do every kind of work and make artistic designs.”
Exodus 36:1
1 Now Bezalel and Aholiab, and every skilled person in whom the LORD has put skill and understanding, to know how to do all the work for the service of the sanctuary, are to do according to all that the LORD has commanded.

6 That is why I remind you to fan into flame the gracious gift of God, that inner fire, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline.
Romans 11:29
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable, for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace.
