Everton and Nottingham Forest are not only fighting a relegation battle this season, but they are also fighting the Premier League's PSR regulations aswell. With both clubs now confirming they have appealed their point deductions in the hope of points being returned. The dates for when we will know the results of these appeals have been announced, and the Premier League are confident it wont drag on past the end of the season.

But can either club realistically expect any points back from these appeals? well it all comes down to the independant panel, and if they feel that the original punishment was justified or not. Based on Everton's original appeal for breaching PSR, appealing seems to be worth it, as they recevied 4 points back from their original 10 point deduction.

So with both Nottingham Forests and Everton future in the Premier League still not decided both on and off the pitch, the two teams go heads up in the "PSR Derby" this weekend, which could go along way to deciding the fate of this extraordinary relegation battle.
