Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how the brain regulates attention, impulse control, emotional regulation, and executive functioning. While it is commonly associated with distraction or hyperactivity, ADHD is far more complex than these stereotypes.
For many, ADHD presents daily challenges. Yet, when understood and supported effectively, it can also be associated with remarkable strengths, including creativity, innovation, resilience, curiosity, problem-solving, and the ability to think outside the box.
Many high achievers have openly shared their ADHD journeys, including Richard Branson, Simone Biles,Will Smith, Emma Watson, and David Neeleman, founder of JetBlue. Their stories remind us that ADHD does not define a person's potential, it is understanding, support, and the right strategies that help individuals flourish.
