PsychoPlath

After a several-week hiatus, Gitana and Lizzy are back-- and have entirely abandoned 12 weeks of horror (what were they thinking??).

Instead, in this episode, they attempt to tackle Industrial Society and Its Future (a.k.a. The Unabomber Manifesto).

Prepare to hear Gitana say "Shut up, nerd," a LOT and hear Lizzy call Ted Kaczynski to the political mat (jk -- sorta).

The Psychoplaths Gitana and Lizzy have a lot to unpack as they take on Christina Rossetti's The Goblin Market, a poem full of sexy fruit, gut-wrenching Victorian violence, disgusting ghosting goblin men, but most importantly, friendship.

Grab your globed fruits and settle in. It's about to get REAL wild.

It's no secret that Gitana and Lizzy are simps for Sylvia Plath. She is their mother, after all, and this necessitates an entire episode devoted to this queen of melancholic edge.

In this episode, the Psychoplaths dedicate an entire hour to gushing over their mother's works, including Mary Ventura and the Ninth Kingdom, selected poetry (of which Gitana and Lizzy will proceed to recite to their listeners), and a peep into Plath's private journals.

It's a double feature, and Gitana and Lizzy are talking about two horror queens. Shirley Jackson is HERSELF a creature of chaos, while Mary Shelley writes ABOUT a creature of chaos and perhaps one of history's most iconic-- Frankenstein's Monster.

In this episode, the Psychoplaths discuss the horrors of being a woman, haunted house stomachs, and monsters made of dead body parts.

This week, your PsychoPlaths continue "12 Weeks of Horror" with Macbeth, written by their literary grandfather, William Shakespeare.

Buckle up for another roast with Lizzy and Gitana because the world hates women, men are fragile and hysterical, and everyone's feeling a little unhinged.

Plus, a new segment: Nerd Fight! Who would win in a fight between Edgar Allan Poe and William Shakespeare? Let's find out.

The PsychoPlaths Lizzy and Gitana are kicking off "12 Weeks of Horror Lit" with the master of melancholy himself: Edgar Allan Poe.

Get ready for a good roasting and they discuss dead women, pedophilia, and the snooze-ability of Poe's works.
