PART 1: Rome opens the show with coverage of the sudden fundraising tsunami for the presumptive nominee VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS who was endorsed by PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN after his announcement that we would not seek re-election. The response has been cataclysmic. Organizations lead by Black Women's "WinWithBlackWomen" have gotten right to work to start grassroots movements to elect Kamala Harris into the White House. Writing for the majority, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. said a president “may not be prosecuted for exercising his core constitutional powers, and he is entitled, at a minimum, to a presumptive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts.” But, Roberts added, the president “enjoys no immunity for his unofficial acts, and not everything the President does is official. The President is not above the law.” 

In the dissent, Justice Sonia Sotomayor stated, The majority “reshapes the institution of the presidency” and “makes a mockery of the principle” that “no man is above the law,” wrote Sotomayor, joined by Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson. “With fear for our democracy, I dissent.”
