On this episode we sit down over a cup of The Original Blend to talk about a post we made over a year ago that has been circling the Gram again. The importance of modifying exercise/activity rather than eliminating it. During this episode we cover why we think this is important, how you need to be a movement optimist to adopt this approach, and how understanding how to modify exercise and activity changed the way we approached care. You can listen to the episode on iTunes, Google Podcast, and Spotify. On this episode we had our first opportunity to do a Live Podcast recording. We headed back to our MPT program at Western University in London, Ontario to have a cup of coffee with the second year PT students. One of our former professors and past podcast guest Darryl Yardley invited us out to his Business Symposium to talk about starting a podcast, the importance of social media, and why it's important to explore other avenues outside of the PT profession. We want to give a thank you to every single student who came out to the event and an even bigger thank you to the 5 students who came on the podcast to ask us questions. This experience was truly surreal for us as we sat in that classroom as students a year ago! We hope you all enjoy this episode as much as we did!
