Ruth demonstrates for us that if we have faith and do the will of God, we will be repaid and richly rewarded by our own Guardian Redeemer.  Ruth was the perfect picture of redemption reminding us that we all either need redemption or live in redemption. We continue our Luke3andMe series by looking at the life of the third woman mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus. 

As we continue our Luke3andMe sermon series, we come to Rahab who is mentioned in the Matthew version of Jesus' genealogy. Rahab was an interesting choice to be included in this list because Rahab was a prostitute. But God uses her to illustrate to us the power of transformation that takes place when we believe HIStory!  We learn more about principles and patterns in this message and are cautioned to be on guard against the stories which seek to conform us to the pattern and principles of this world.

The genealogy of Jesus had a few troublemakers in it.  As we continue in the Luke3andMe sermon series, we consider Tamar who was one of those troublemakers. She had to make trouble for her father-in-law Judah because he didn't make the best decisions causing the lineage Jesus to be put in jeopardy. Find out how God used Tamar to hold Judah accountable to the "Purity of Agreement."

We take a retrospective look back at our Luke3andMe series as we apply it to the Resurrection of Christ. Jesus is the center of all things so we miss out on so much when we don't look at life from that perspective. Jesus tasted death for us so that we can live without fear of it. In this day and age, this message is important hear so that we can overcome.

Jacob blessed his sons together, but Judah received the best blessing as the future leader, protector, and victor of his people. He was the precursor to the Lion of Judah whom we get to be like, Jesus Christ.  Today's message in the Luke3andMe Series helps us face the current pandemic we are all living through in triumph, not tragedy. 

Jacob has a name change and attitude change after wrestling with God. He had to learn to submit to the stronger and wiser God who had an incredible plan for him.  We might struggle with our siblings, in-laws, or spouses, but we should always be guided by justification instead of judgment. So why does Genesis record that he made the same kind of mistakes most of us do, but was still honored as a man of great faith? What do you do when idolatry has completely overwhelmed the culture in which you live? Like Terah, father of Abraham, you might need to "Make A Move." Wickedness is epitomized in idolatry and God hates idolatry so much that when He gave us His top Ten Commandments, dealing with it was His first priority.
