How often do we all sit each day? How often do we challenge ourselves each day? Most people sit more than they are challenged. If we sit at home, at work, in the car, then why are we also sitting at the gym to exercise? Working out needs to, if nothing else, combat and undo positions, stress and tension that are created during that day. Machines are a safety net, but better than nothing. However, challenging the body, side vs side, top vs bottom, and using free weights will shock the body into a heightened mind-muscle connectedness. We want our bodies and muscles to be problem solving throughout everyday, not complacent and under utilized! Hitch a ride with Matt on this mental journey, and apply what you can to your routine.
