🎶 DJ DELISH RE-RELEASES "I WANT ALL THE GIRLS"
A ballroom classic returns with fresh force
Originally recorded in 2012. Re-released June 22, 2025.
DJ Delish (aka Khadijah), the Philly-born, Richmond-raised production powerhouse behind the evolution of ballroom beats, is re-releasing her landmark track “I Want All The Girls” featuring Ms Jay Karan—first debuted as the lead single from her formative 2013 release Mutual.
💥 A SOUND THAT SHIFTED THE BALLROOM BEAT
Back in 2012, ballroom music was still dominated by rough, crash-heavy edits and raw DAW experiments. Delish, however, brought musicality, precision, and intention to the formula:
✨ Tuned crashes, not just loud FX
🎹 Mid-song changes that defied monotonous loops
🎧 Masterful sample manipulation, elevating chopped vocals into art
🧩 Full-length cohesive projects, not just standalone singles
“I Want All The Girls” represents that moment: a playful, fierce, and culturally affirming anthem rooted in Black queer joy, ballroom attitude, and Delish’s genre-bending aesthetic.
