PUMPDABEAT LIVE FEED/RECORDING FQ PERFORMANCE AO: ANARCHY BALL 2023

WARNING!!! THIS TRACK CONTAINS AN ICONIC MOMENT IN BALLROOM.

Michael Lamonte found success and acceptance in the Ballroom scene under the persona of Feminine Destruction, now MK, he shares with us his detransition story.

Why are young transgenders more visible these days? Is it due to more widespread acceptance or more media coverage? Is transitioning harder for minorities? Why are we hearing stories about people detransitioning, people like Feminine Destruction? Feminine is a ballroom legend known for her explosive and dramatic style of Vogue! While balancing the complex life of a Transwoman and the Glitz and Glamour of being a Fem Queen at the balls, she realized one day that she made a mistake and tried to correct that mistake. What would you do if you woke up one morning and didn’t want to be Trans any longer? Was there anything to do? Back in 2016, as Feminine came to this conclusion, the word detransition was unheard of. Follow this beautiful soul through the harsh life of a person struggling with gender identity, what led up to it, and the mind of a brave human looking to fit in and be in this cruel, cruel world.
