It's that time of year! We're starting our top of the year lists here at the PDC and we begin this week with our top scenes of the year. Each one of us is putting together a list of our favorite three scenes in cinema during 2013!

Unfortunatley we've had to edit the content on this episode at the last minute, we were planning on covering the new releases as usual but, much to our shock and dismay, Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker was killed in a car wreck yesterday afternoon. While we will still be covering this week's releases we thought it better to remember the career of yet another actor that we've lost far too young.

We are a crew divided when it comes to a decision on Ender's Game, the latest book adaptation to hit the big screen. Find out what sides of the fence we sit on, then it's on to find out if Kevin Kline, Morgan Freeman and co. can bring the funny in Last Vegas. The Oscar hopefuls are coming in weekly now! October brings the most exciting time of the year in film as every big movie vieing for a gold statue starts to make their case. This week we'll be talking about the big screen adaptation of the gripping true life account of a free man kidnapped into slavery with Steve McQueen's Ten Years a Slave. Slightly less Oscary but just as highly anticipated we'll also be talking about the big screen remake of Carrie with Chloe Grace Moretz.

- Machete's back....and he's one bad muth!. Danny Trejo returns as Machete in the surefire way to havve a good time, Machete Kills. The gang will let you know if he can recapture the B-movie cult classic status of the first. 
 

It's the first of many times in the next few months that we'll probably be using the word's "Best Movie of the Year", though I think this week is said most in earnest. Gravity the stuck in space drama featuring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock is drawing comments from "Best movie of the Year"  to "Pushing the bounds of cinema!". Then we have Justin Timberlake facting up against Ben Affleck in the off-shore gambling thriller Runner, Runner.
