Over the past decade, there's been a definitive shift happening in the indie-rock scene that leans very heavily toward that iconic 90s rock sound that we all know and love. Whether it be grunge, shoegaze, or any flavor on the wide spectrum of the alt-rock sound, modern bands are taking all of those waypoints in rock and breathing new life into them. And we argue on this episode that no band does it better (or comes anywhere close) than Houston-based alt-rock group Narrow Head. We listen to a few tracks from their 2016 record Satisfaction and talk about the nostalgia that oozes from every track.
