(00:00-26:17) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s NCAA Tournament games that featured Illinois and Alabama moving on. They discuss the job Brad Underwood has done at Illinois. Additionally, Jake shoots down another “hip” phrase that Jimmy used. This leads to the three amigos discussing what terms Jake likes and doesn’t like.

(26:17-44:18) – College basketball analyst Steve Lappas joins Query & Company from Detroit to break down the rematch between Purdue and Gonzaga tonight. He states that fans will like watching the Zach Edey/Graham Ike and Ryan Nembhard/Braden Smith go at it for forty minutes. He assesses if Purdue can keep up with Gonzaga if the Bulldogs set the pace, explains how Gonzaga is different now compared to their Maui Invitational matchup, and reveals what Purdue will need to do well to win tonight.

(45:22-1:11:42) – Former Purdue Boilermaker, Brian Cardinal, joins the show to start the second hour of the program to share his excitement for tonight’s game against Gonzaga. He explains what it would mean for Purdue to make it to the Final Four with Matt Painter, going back in time to explain what it was like for him as a player to make it to the Final Four, and shares some stories about Gene Keady that he won’t forget because of how important he was to him and his family.

(1:11:42-1:23:05) – Following their conversation with Brian Cardinal, Jake reveals there was a plumbing issue at the station. Jimmy pivots the conversation to tonight’s Pacers game against the Lakers. Jake and Jimmy then talk about how the NBA has transitioned from fans attending games to see opposing teams to attending games to see specific players.

(1:25:11-1:46:35) – Co-host of the Wake Up Call with KB & Andy in Kevin Bowen makes his weekly visit on Query & Company to give Jake some insight on what kind of level of shooters he will see at tonight’s pop-a-shot event. Additionally, he weighs in on the importance of Purdue to make it to the Final Four, also believes that Zach Edey is locked in on a different level, and previews his upcoming Easter plans with his kids.

(1:46:35-2:03:09) – St. Mary’s head coach Randy Bennett joins Query & Company to break down the growth he’s seen from Gonzaga from the early part of the season to where they are at now. He explains what Purdue can’t afford to do against Gonzaga, states that Graham Ike is a viable offensive option for Gonzaga assuming he doesn’t get in foul trouble, and believes Gonzaga has to double team Zach Edey in order to have a chance to defeat the Boilermakers.
