In his early career, Perrin fought for regional promotions such as Cage Titans and CES MMA. He quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with, winning his first four professional fights via submission or TKO.

However, Perrin faced his first setback in 2018 when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Richie Santiago at CES MMA 50. Despite the setback, Perrin bounced back with a vengeance, winning his next four fights and capturing the Cage Titans bantamweight title in the process.

Perrin’s hard work and dedication paid off when he received the call to compete in the UFC. His debut came on August 22, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar, where he faced fellow newcomer, Jordan Griffin.

Although Perrin lost a close split decision, he showed that he belonged in the UFC with his gritty performance. He proved that he has the heart and determination to succeed at the highest level of MMA.

Perrin takes the motivation he receives from his closest friends who cannot be here any longer and turns it into a strength by channeling his higher power: the angels.

The UFC has yet to turn Jay down a challenge. Unfortunately being young and hungry with the glory of the biggest stage on the planet in their hands most fighters become gun hoes vs being focused on the long term within the organization. Sadly this leads to 3 fights with 2 losses that can have a very dark blemish on a fighter's value and future as their next contract negotiation approaches.

Jay Perrin is a rising star in the UFC bantamweight division. With his unique fighting style and unwavering determination, he has already made a name for himself in the sport. And with his upcoming fight against David Dvorak, he has the opportunity to take another step towards greatness.

The drama that went on in this fight between our Podcast and SD plus his Manager ABE KAWA was something too out of a bad cartoon! 10 years into this and my cohost steve 15 makes 25 years... This is a new podcast and our goal is to have fun while showing fans the fighter's normal side so they can grow their fanbase one listener at a time.

Check this one out it's an honor to have Josh on while going threw a weight cut and preparing for his fight at UFC Vegas.

as Roberto Duran Jr, son of the LEGENDARY BOXER Roberto Duran joins the program. His father is one of the top 5 biggest names in Boxing history with a Hollywood film "Hands Of Stone' and one of ESPNs' most watched "30 For 30" episodes "NO MAS" which tells the tale of the 1980 boxing match between Roberto Duran Jr and Sugar Ray Leonard that lead to the infamous rematch that you all must look up yourselves on youtube to become truly strapped in for this interview!

On today's show, you'll hear the true life story of Roberto Duran Jr and the many obstacles in his life, including why he has never given up.

As kids, we were drugged by fairy tales and happy endings only to grow up and realize that life doesn't always work out in your favor even after doing everything the correct way.

Yeah obviously this isn't Hollywood, but what if I told you this simulation is playing out one of our times most exciting, heart-wrenching stories you would only see in theaters or on Netflix?

Hear how he was able to overcome the challenges of growing up without his father and the dangerous street life of New York. Through hard work and dedication, Duran Jr. was able to find balance and success in his life.

Boxing is a sport that requires a lot of sacrifices. You have to be willing to give up family time, holidays, and other important events in order to reach your goals. Roberto Duran Jr. understands this better than anyone, and he has made a conscious effort to prioritize his family while still pursuing his dreams.

Like many of us here reading this R.D.J. will share with us the insane obstacles he's come face to face with in his life, and exactly how he has maneuvered and adjusted himself so he could persevere. He has used his strength and determination to overcome challenges and become a champion. He understands that success doesn't come easy, and he has worked hard to achieve his goals.

Now as an adult, he has found a balance in his life. He understands the importance of family, and he has made a conscious effort to prioritize his family while still pursuing his dreams. He understands that success is not just about reaching your goals; it is also about finding balance in your life.

Balance is an important part of becoming a champion. You have to be able to find a balance between your goals and your personal life. With the right balance, you can become your own champion.

For me to say that Roberto Duran Jr. has been through a lot in his life would be an understatement, because the situations he found himself in over the years would be hard to imagine for anyone who hasn't grown up with an absent parent who is also a huge superstar.

Even after all of this R.D.J has clearly come out stronger for it. He has faced emotional and physical challenges and has emerged with a newfound strength. He has used this strength to become a champion in his own right.

The stories that are shared in this interview are the ones any Hollywood director would turn into a new-age ROCKY movie.

In my eyes, Roberto Duran JR is now slowly approaching what id consider the blossoming of a heartfelt, skin-chilling climax that will either fall on one side of the fence or the other. On one side the future may very well lead to Duran JR making it to the spotlight fight for the championship as his father attends for the very 1st time in his sons' career and win or lose there will for sure be that classic "ADRIANE" moment for the two. On the other side of the fence, Duran Jr gets lost in the smoke of life, losing his passion and resting his gloves by the open door that mirrors abandoned glory as his father's voice echoes in his mind "NO MAS".

Sadly this b side of the fence is a tale as old as time itself so we all must now sit and watch at the edge of our seats and witness one of God's very own tales that define humanity and the meaning of one's life.
