  • 'Van Helsing' recap: Brad and Cort Talk Ep 3x03, "I Alive"
Welcome back, Helsingers. The show just took us on an epic trip back in time thanks to Elder Susan working her voodoo on Vanessa. Was it a dream or did Vanessa really take over her ancestor's body for a time? Either way, Vanessa learns quite a lot about Elder vampires and the Baugh. She also spends time training with Master Tsui.
Hit Play and listen in as Brad and Cort discuss Ep 3x03, "I Alive". What did you think of Vanessa's mind-trip back in time? How awesome was Shavonne and do you think she'll show up again in the present day? In this show, anything could happen. Which do you think is more of a danger to Vanessa, the Oracle or Baugh? It certainly can't be Elder Susan. RIP. Give us a listen and then be sure to drop a comment or in our Facebook group with your thoughts on Ep 3x03, "I Alive". • Pure Murders & Mysteries: Episode 6, "Israel Keyes"
This week, we're digging into a lesser-known serial killer named Israel Keyes. You may have never heard of him, but he was an evil monster, through and through. Growing up in eastern Washington, Israel grew up living next to murderer Chevie Kehoe and attending churches known for anti-semitic views.
As an adult, he moved to Alaska and started living a true double life. He spent years meticulously planning trips to kill people and commit bank robberies all across the country. No one who knew him would have expected it, but he took great care to cover his tracks. He even went as far as to bury murder kits with weapons, trash bags, Draino, and more in different states in preparation for future kills.

  • 'Van Helsing' recap: Brad and Cort Talk Ep 3x02, "Super Unknown"
Welcome back, Helsingers. If there were any doubts, badassery is clearly in the Van Helsing genes. This week's episode takes us back to the past. Like wayyyyy back. We briefly see Vanessa and Scarlett's ancestor, Lillian. The latter is in an asylum and faces up with a vampire with some interesting skills. Scarlett's worried about her sister after glimpsing her red, glowing eyes and after Vanessa confesses her new craving for blood.

Is the show trying to do some kind of weird and unnecessary love triangle with the sisters and Axel? What is up with Vanessa's fixation on that blade and can Elder Susan be trusted?
