  • ‘Wynonna Earp’ recap: Brad and Cort Talk Ep 2×10, “I See Darkness”
    We honestly couldn't think of a better title for this episode because things got dark and right off at the top of the episode. Not our WayHaught! Don't do it, writers. We can take them fighting and even other people in their lives, but don't take Nicole Haught. Thankfully, they didn't but these days you never know. The episode picked up right where we left off last week. Widow!Mercedes was drawn to Nicole's place thinking that she had the third seal. Nicole gets bit with lethal venom.
    Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort discuss the moments that felt like a gut punch and the lines that hand them rolling. Also, can Jeremy sit down with Wynonna and explain the difference between Star Trek and Harry Potter. Unless she was only doing that to get under his skin and if so...well-played.

  • ‘Blood Drive’ Blood Garage recap: 1×09 "The Chopsocky Special"
    Blood Drive is offering us more questions every episode. And not as many solutions! This episode definitely made you feel like your brain was melting. Our first suggestion is that you don't think about anything too hard because you will get a headache. We think some mysteries have been revealed, but can you ever really be sure with this shows?
    Join Brad and Sarah as we not only break down this week's episode of Blood Drive, but discuss some theories too! Not only do we have a gravely injured Arthur, but we also have a Chinese Food Restaurant in the middle of nowhere? This probably isn't the best choice of place to eat. But things get even weirder as we take a trip into Arthur's subconscious. Need more details? That's good because we've got them! Listen to our recap and theories then drop a comment with any theories you have! Let us know if you thought episode 1x09 "The Chopsocky Special" was as strange as we did. What's the real story with Aki? And just where the hell did Arthur disappear to?!

  • Talking TV With Liz and Lindi: ‘Game of Thrones’ 7×04, “Spoils of War”
    Holy guacamole! Was that the most epic battle scene we've ever seen on Game of Thrones? Tune in as we break down the crazy work that went on behind-the-scenes to pull off Drogon's Westeros debut, as well as the other significant happenings of the episode, like Bran continuing to creep everyone out and those random cave paintings that gave us some serious Lost-vibes.
    Discussed in this podcast:
    -The theories that claim Dany will "go down a dark path", and why we don't believe them;
    -Arya's badass return to Winterfell and her epic fight with Brienne;
    -The significance of Bran saying, "Chaos is a ladder" to Littlefinger, and why it looked like Pete was crapping his pants when Bran said that;
    -Jon and Dany's venture into the underground mountain of dragonglass and why those cave paintings were crucial;
    -Why Jaime Lannister is totally not dead (but his last-ditch effort to kill Dany was REALLY stupid);
    -Why we should care about Theon/Reek at all at this point;
    -How excited we are that next week's preview shows Jon and Drogon face-to-face!

  • 'Wynonna Earp' recap: Brad and Cort Talk 2x09, "Forever Mine, Nevermind"
    Hello, Earpers! Our Black Badge crew is back this week with an all-new episode. A very, pregnant Wynonna and cross-fit badass, Waverly, show off their best moves right at the top of the episode. Doc finds a perfect (read: creepy) painting for the baby's room. Wynonna blindsides Doc with a very unexpected proposal (not that kind...unfortunately). As we learned last week, his ring is the third seal and she wants to destroy it before the widows can get to it. WayHaught are on the outs and Waverly connects with Rosita. Dolls and Jeremy team up again and it is highly entertaining. Don't you love it when Dolls gets those glowy eyes of fire?
    Hit play and listen in as Brad and Cort breakdown the biggest OMG moments of the episode. What do you think the Widow meant about Waverly being special? Are you on board with Cort's theory about Waverly's parentage? Hit the comments and let us know what you thought of this week's episode, "Forever Mine, Nevermind." We've got just a few more episodes left before the finale.

  • 'Blood Drive' Blood Garage recap 1x08 "A Fistful of Blood"
    Before we get started, let's all just take a moment to appreciate Smax Candy. Without them, would any of us be here? Who's to say? All I know is that this stuff is everywhere in Blood Drive, along with Kox meat apparently. Which is clearly the main sponsor of the entire Blood Race. Or it was. But everyone tastes the same on the grill.
    Tune in as the Brad half of Brad and Cort allows fellow Blood Drive fan and Pure Fandom writer Sarah to join him for the breakdown of this week's episode! As if being in the desert wasn't bad enough, we've got a demanding sheriff who wants more from Arthur than he can give. But we all know how things are dealt with in the old west. Want more details? No problem, we've got them! Just listen in below and drop a comment to let us know what you thought of episode 1x07, "A Fistful of Blood". What did you think of what happened to Arthur? And what about the tension between Grace and Slink?

The two powerhouses had their first tête-à-tête ever, and they weren't exactly on the same page. • 'Wynonna Earp' recap: Brad and Cort Talk 2x08, "No Future in the Past"
    First, let's celebrate the amazing news that the show has been renewed for a third season. Bring on more badass Wynonna, clever Waverly, sassy Doc, way more WayHaught, and hulked-out Dolls. We're so here for it. Especially after this fantastically timey-wimey episode.
    Listen in as Brad and Cort breakdown the highlights from "No Future in the Past" and that awesome return for our favorite revenant, Bobo. Who knew he was such a good dude in his previous life? Also, how cool was that party that Rosita put together for her lover's babymomma? Too bad that Wynonna's only other female friend in Purgatory is currently possessed. What did you think of the revelations regarding the curse and Mama Earp?

  • Star Wars Theory Series Part 20: Here's how big the Death Star would be if it were real
    Star Wars Theory Series is hosted by PureFandom.com co-founder Liz Prugh and her brother Patrick Pochop (talking about Star Wars is one of the only ways she can get him to hang out with her). They frequently have their other two brothers, dad, and Liz’s husband and self-proclaimed Star Wars experts as guest hosts. They’re dedicated to putting a fun and comedic spin on each episode. New episodes are posted on Fridays, where they break down a new theory and news about the film franchise.
    This week is our 20th episode! To celebrate, we feature special guest Michael Welling, a fellow Star Wars-enthusiast. He and his friends had a few beers one night and decided to break down the math behind the Death Star: How big would the weapon be in real life? Who could live on it? How many levels did it have? We dive into the uber-nerdiness of the making of a real Death Star, plus of course talk all things Star Wars.
    Tune in for Death Star details:
    -How big the Death Star would be in real life;
    -Jobs that someone would have working on the Death Star;
    -Why the Death Star would actually hold a larger population than Earth;
    -How fast the Death Star could go, and if the technology could potentially exist in real life;
    -and more!
