Today's episode is best described in the following caption. If you want to learn how we are self-sabotaging when we don't follow our calendar exactly, you'll want to listen to this episode about how the effort matters more than when it actually happens.
How often do you give up or quit because you didn't do something when you were 'supposed' to?
Example:
If you were supposed to prospect or lead gen, workout, post on social media (insert whatever you want to apply to this) at a certain time but you were running behind or got distracted...
Did you do it the next moment you had a chance and got refocused?
Or was the day ruined and you'll start over tomorrow?
I believe it doesn't matter WHEN you do it, as long as you do it!
And yet we are somehow conditioned to believe that if it doesn't happen according to when society's rules thinks its best, then we messed up and it's too late.
Have you ever heard you 'need' to...
😳 Work out first thing in the morning or it will never happen
😳 Lead gen first thing in the morning or it will never happen
So what happens if you don't do it in the morning, is the rest of the day ruined?
Or could you technically still do it, even if it's later than what you would have liked?
How about we change the narrative to...
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHEN, AS LONG AS I DO WHAT MATTERS!
That sounds more empowering if you ask me....
