  • Remember the Goodness of God
The sermon examines Joshua chapters 5 verses 10 to 12, highlighting the essential spiritual preparations Israel undertook before conquering Jericho. It emphasizes that worship must precede warfare, as evidenced by the renewal of circumcision and the observance of the Passover, which points to Christ's sacrificial death. The text further explores the Feast of Firstfruits as a type of Jesus' resurrection and the Feast of Unleavened Bread as a call to remove sin from one's life. The preacher argues that believers must continually cast out the leaven of sin and remember God's goodness through tithing and communion to secure spiritual victory. Ultimately, the message urges Christians to rely on ordinary means of grace while maintaining purity in a sinful world.

  • Episode 6 - Purification, and works Salvation?
The transcript analyzes textual discrepancies in the Reina Valera 1960 Spanish Bible, arguing that it follows the critical text rather than the received text. It highlights specific verses like 1 Peter 2:2 and Luke 2:22 to demonstrate how modern editions incorporate readings absent from earlier manuscripts. The speaker warns listeners about the theological implications of using a Bible based on corrupted source texts. This analysis challenges the common perception that the RV1960 is equivalent to the King James Version in English. The message emphasizes that true integrity begins within the heart and requires guarding one's eyes and thoughts against corruption in a modern world filled with distractions. • Behold Your God #48
This sermon explores the Seventh Commandment, "You shall not commit adultery," by examining its statement, extent, and theological basis. The speaker argues that the commandment upholds the sanctity of marriage as a creation ordinance and a binding covenant agreement between one man and one woman. It extends beyond physical acts to include lustful attitudes, reflecting God's concern for the purity of the heart. Furthermore, the sermon posits that human marriage serves as a profound picture of the ultimate eschatological union between Christ and His Church. The central message emphasizes that preserving marital fidelity is essential because it honors God's original design and reflects the glorious future redemption of believers.

Sermon Idea: True worship calls for spiritual purity, turning to the Lord and trusting in His promises. • Living by Faith
All men live by faith, whether it is faith in the purity of the water we drink or the food that we order at a restaurant. We have faith in the financial institutions. Every day we exercise faith. But for the child of God, spiritual faith is different in that it is supernatural in origin. God is the source of our faith, and living by faith is the key for enduring to the end. Hebrews 11 is often called the "Saint's Hall of Fame" or the "Faith Chapter." I prefer to think of it as the "Roll Call of the Great Cloud of Witnesses" of Hebrews 12:1. In practical terms what is faith, and then what is the outcome of faith. Faith is the "substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith imparts certainty, reality to what is invisible. Faith is living in a hope that is so real that it gives absolute assurance. It is living as if the promises of God are present tense, not future. True faith forms the foundation, the basis for life itself! And those who live by faith please God, and receive a good testimony or report card. To please God we must first of all believe that He exists, and then secondly that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. The "great cloud of witnesses" recorded in Hebrews 11 are examples of those who have obtained a good testimony that they pleased God. The just shall live by his faith!
