Christ is the one who does the work of salvation and unites us to the Father. Christ restores, nourishes, and sanctifies us through the power of his word. We must set our hope on the resurrection of Jesus, and live in that hope moment-by-moment to fight sin and pursue the holiness that Christ has won for us.
