The Minnesota Vikings are back at Winter Park for week two of OTAs. Today on the show, I run through a few story lines bubbling up from the practices of practicing, as well as run through the odd reason that makes the Vikings-Packers rivalry great, and reminisce about attending my first Vikes game as a 10-year old.

Today's Talkers Include:

Teddy Back at OTAs Doing Work

Zimmer Returning with One Eye or Two

All the Vikings Rookies are Signed

I Think Sharrif Floyd is Done

Vikings Resign Tommy Armstrong

Depth Chart Over Reactions

What Makes the Vikings-Packers Rivalry Great

Can Stefon Diggs Be the New Face of the Franchise

My First Vikings Game

The Minnesota Fightin' Vikings were back in town this week to start the first of three sets of Organized Team Activities before mid-June's mandatory mini-camp. Tuesday's practice lit #VikingsTwitter ablaze with video of Teddy Bridgewater taking snaps. I pontificate about that along with several other OTA talkers. Later in the show, we bring in Joshua Johnson (@DFF_Cog) to talk some fantasy implications about the young Vikes. Plus a clip of Matt Vensel (@MattVensel) of the Star Tribune and I chatting about Mike Zimmer's absence from OTAs due to his 8th eye surgery and both his short and long-term prospects with the team.

All that and more "Breath. It's Just OTAs." chatter on this edition of the Purple FTW! Podcast!

Minnesota native Michael Floyd was officially brought back home by the Vikings on Wednesday. We touched on what that means for the team and the wide receiver depth chart (in-depth in our YouTube video below). Plus we have great macro Vikings chats with our friends Darren "Doogie" Wolfson (@DWolfsonKSTP) of KSTP Sports/1500 ESPN and Lindsey Young (@LindseyMNSports) of Vikings.com.

Trader Rick Spielman landed a phat return on the Minnesota Fightin' Vikings' 8 inbound picks in the 2017 NFL Draft, trading up twice for running back Dalvin Cook and center Pat Elflein, yet still coming away with 11 selections. To help comb through the picks, we compiled out conversations with @JReidDraftScout (The Viking Age) and BJ Reidell (@RobertReidell) (Vikings Territory & About The Labor Podcast) from earlier in the week on BULL with Andy Carlson. Tune in as better draft minds than I sift through the draft picks, the undrafted free agents, and if Vikings fans should be Bearish or Bullish on the rookie acquisitions.

Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman more than lived up to his "Trader Rick" moniker wheeling-and-dealing seven times (we think) in this iteration of the draft. We recap the haul, declare Winners and Losers of the draft Vikings-wise, and how the Purple neophytes project to make an impact in 2017 and beyond.

I do not claim to be an NFL Draft expert. But draft season is a fun time of the year for me because I'm a fan of the process and the feeling of hope springing anew for the 31 teams that didn't hoist the Lombardi last year. Plus because players are 100% subjective and despite being a neophyte, I will have around the same hit rate as a seasoned tape watcher that breaks down every aspect of a player's game. It's the "Sweet Inexact Science". We take our crack at a First Round Mock Draft and do up our Minnesota Vikings 7 (but really 6) Round Draft Simulation 2.0. [Click For Spoilers!]
