Purple Reign

Last week marked a month before Year 2 of the PWHL and the title defense of our Frost's Walter Cup begins and the league made some interesting announcements

We collectively as a trio believe the league is going too fast and needds to walk before it can run as the hard work has been done to lay the foundations and we don't want it to end in smoke

On Monday 8th September 2024 the PWHL reintroduced the Inaugural Six to the world revealing each team's name, logo and identityThis week we take a more in depth look at the Toronto Sceptres

Monday 9th September 2024 will be remembered as an important milestone in the PWHL as the Inaugural Six were finally given their team names and brands with the big reveal happening on breakfast telly both in the States & Canada

A day this big requires all of the Purple Trio as the three of us go through each team one by one as we give our honest feedback on each brand and trust me we do not hold back

Check out the big reveals that took place on Good Morning America featuring Hillary Knight the captain of the Boston Fleet and on Breakfast Television featuring Natalie Spooner from the Toronto Sceptres in the links below

The moment we've all been waiting for in the PWHL is almost here as we are about to get team names and logos and it seems the league has taken a leaf out of Taylor Swift's book as most of the teasers don't seem to give much away or relate to their potential brand

We put our gladrags on and roll out the purple carpet for the first ever awards season for the PWHL which was dominated by PWHL Toronto but lets see if any of the other teams can get on the board in one of the six categories
