  • Episode 119 - Nicholas Jandora : Every Story Is Different

Nicholas Jandora is a music video director also known as Jandora Media. In the past he has worked with recording artists Lil Skies, Landon Cube, Yung Pinch, Lil Gnar and more. Being genuine, humble and selective with who he works with has helped him get to where he is today.

Born and raised in Martinsburg, West Virginia, he started making YouTube sketch comedy videos with his friends in high school. He attended Shepherd University for 1.5 years and then transferred to West Virginia University where he majored in Visual Journalism. Even with professors, friends and family suggesting he get a job after graduating, he saw the success other music video directors were having which gave him the confidence to go for it.

Working with local artists in the beginning taught him how to maneuver and understand what his self-worth was. Instead of taking constructive criticism personally, he uses it to help better prepare himself for his next project. He has surrounded himself with other music video directors such as Cole Bennett and Lonewolf who all encourage and enjoy seeing each other succeed. If there was any advice he’d give to his younger self it be to keep working.

In this Episode Nicholas discusses seeing his work inspire others to chase their passions is what makes him happy, collaborating helps us create the best results, manifesting something from nothing, you have to lose in order to win, what scares him the most is being stagnant and understanding that every story is different.

  • Episode 118 - Kim Rose : Be Forever Curious

Kim Rose is an artist with a focus on marble fine art and minimalist line drawings. She is the founder of Mission Marisol, a nonprofit that uses fine art as a way to bring funds and awareness to kids in Tijuana, Mexico. This past November they nearly raised $50k at The Charity Art Auction.

Born and raised in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, her mother influenced her early on to “let her imagination run wild.” As a kid, she visited Mexico on mission trips with her family to help the community and it gave her perspective that not everyone grows up in the same environment. She studied at Azusa Pacific University as a business management major with a minor in fine arts. Seeing first hand from a media marketing internship the money that was being poured into Instagram influencers, she graduated and continued to build the Kim Rose Art brand.

The journey of finding her style has taken time and is continuously evolving. Through social media, her pieces have been purchased and shipped all over the world. Being resilient and continuing to learn have been some of the biggest lessons she has learned from being an entrepreneur. Moving forward she would like to do more creative collaborations and see Mission Marisol have a greater impact on the kids in Mexico.

In this Episode Kim discusses don’t be afraid to ask questions, the fear of failure helps us keep going, take calculated chances, using the market to help us price our services and why we must be forever curious.

  • Episode 116 - Jesse Coren : There's Enough Room For Everyone To Win

Jesse Coren is the founder of Mutual Friends, an artist collective and management company that works with recording artists Quinn XCII, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker and ayokay. In April of 2018 he partnered with Visionary Music Group, the label and management group home to both Grammy-nominated rapper Logic and singer, songwriter and producer Jon Bellion.

Born and raised in Dix Hills, NY, he was very passionate with music from a young age. He went to the business school at the University of Maryland with interest in working in the entertainment industry. During the summer of his freshmen year, he interned with dGi Management and from that moment moving forward he knew music management was going to be his career path.

After graduating college he moved to NYC to work full-time for dGi  where he learned the fundamentals of being a music manager. As he began to slowly build genuine relationships with his now artists, he left his job to start his own venture with his friends, Mutual Friends.

In this episode Jesse discusses when working with amazing people we strive to get better, we can’t expect people to give us what we want, the importance of feeding the fanbase no matter the size, enjoying the process as much as the results and a simple reminder that there’s enough room for everyone to win.

  • Episode 115 - Mitchell Mullins : Tell Your Truth

Mitchell Mullins is a visual content creator. In 2018 alone he spent 300 days on the road traveling the world for both client and his own personal work. He has learned to let his work speak for himself and he hopes through it, it helps lead, instill confidence and inspire others to chase their passions every second of everyday.

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, his childhood was filled with creativity. He first picked up a camera at the age of 11 to record his brother on a trampoline and never seemed to put it down. After finishing up high school he attended Savannah College of Art and Design with intent to study film. 6 months later, not satisfied with school, he dropped out, bought a flight to California and joined his buddy Jackson Thomas on a road trip.

While driving on the freeway in the early morning of April 13, 2017, their 15 passenger van blew out one of its front tire which led to the van swerving and flipping 6 times before landing right side up. Mitchell’s friend Jackson who was driving at the time had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital. Fortunately, they both survived this traumatic accident and so he tattooed the word “alive” with a line through it on his wrist as a mark of gratitude which he is reminded of daily.

In this episode Mitchell discusses the importance of letting off the gas pedal & reflecting, the benefits of watching and listening to other people, how to avoid the comparison trap, why fulfillment is a higher version of happiness and why we must tell our truth.

  • I broke down & this is what I learned

Earlier this week I broke down and it was a wake-up call that I cannot continue to push myself to work as hard as I am. I don't have the exact blueprint of how I'm going to make changes moving forward but I'm going to try and figure it out as I go.

A lot of my content is and will always be high energy / positivity but it would be wrong for me not to talk about a moment like this. We're all human beings with emotions and the best way to get through something is to talk about it.

  • Episode 114 - Molives : Play The Hand You're Dealt

Molives is your flight attendants favorite flight attendant. You might bump into him 30,000 feet in the sky with Southwest Airlines or see him in one of their most recent commercials. Ever wondered what the lifestyle of a career path like this might look like? Look no further -  he documents his travels and conversations with crew members on his YouTube Channel.

Born and raised in Lincoln, Rhode Island, at birth he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects your lungs and digestive system. His parents treated him no different and always taught him to give 100% in anything that he did in his life. After spending 3 semesters at the University of Rhode Island, he dropped out and worked towards getting his first pair of wings for a regional airline before switching to Virgin America and now Southwest.

With a passion for videography he launched his YouTube channel and started his Mystery Flights series where his fans and followers select a destination for him to travel to anywhere in the world. The flight is booked for the same day, he purchases wifi onboard, researches what to do in the selected city, vlogs the trip and takes his audience along for the adventure.

In this episode Molives discusses the training to becoming a flight attendant, the craziest experience he’s ever had in the sky, having a goal and going for it, learning to communicate with different cultures, finding what makes you smile and learning to play the hand you're dealt.
