Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'
As always, Kevin gets things started off with a quick recap on some of the games that he's been digging into recently — primarily giving a shoutout to a few (more) demos that caught his attention over the last couple of weeks.
John & Randall jump into the conversation after that, as we dive into some more video gaming goodies — including licensed games in the retro era, games that our friends & cousins owned growing up (that we didn't have), early handheld janky, and much more...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. There's only two of us in the house this week, but Kevin & John still have plenty of gaming goodies to discuss, so let's get right into it...
We get things started off with a recap of the 5th Annual Pursuing Pixels James Jam Game Gam, and give a few quick shoutouts to some of our favorite entries this time around!
Kevin takes the reigns after that, and digs into his first impressions of Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, which he was inspired to finally boot up after John's recent time with Mina the Hollower.
Finally, John closes things out with a potpourri of retro JRPGs that he's been bouncing between lately, including the Breath of Fire series, EarthBound, and more...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We're got the full crew in the house once again this week, and a whole bunch of gaming goodies to discuss (per usual), so let's get right into it...
Randall gets things started off with an update on his time with Twilight Princess HD, where he's been continuing to make steady progress while playing through the game with his daughter on the weekends!
John takes things from there, as he gets started off with his first impressions on the recently released Mina the Hollower from the folks at Yacht Club Games — before ultimately digging into his love/hate relationship with Destiny 2.
Finally, Kevin closes things out with some first impressions of his own, after firing up the demo for Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia — a somewhat unexpected sequel to one of his favorite 2D platformers in recent memory.

As always, Kevin gets things started off with a quick rundown of some of the games that he's been digging into lately — including wrapping up this year's PPJJGG game jam (which ends later today), along with a few indie demos that really clicked with him recently!
After that, John & Randall jump into the conversation, as we dig into all sorts of various gaming goodies — including annoyingly short controller cables, retro gaming ROMs & hardware emulation, gaming consoles becoming glorified DVD players, and much more...

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We're at full-strength once again this week, and we've each got a game that we're eager to dig into, so let's get things rolling...
John gets things started off by revisiting Severed Steel, a fast-paced FPS that he was somewhat lukewarm on the first time around, but has really started to *click* with him this time around.
Randall takes us into familiar territory from there, as he gets into some more beat 'em up action, with the semi-recently released (and absolutely gorgeous) Absolum.
Finally, Kevin wraps things up with a bit of a gush fest, after finally unwrapping his physical copy of Victory Heat Rally and popping it into his Nintendo Switch (where it is still currently residing!)

John gets things started off with a handful of RPGs that he's been digging into recently — including a couple of recent indie releases, alongside a couple of modern day entries to the genre from the veterans over at Square Enix.
Randall takes over from there, and shines a little light on a semi-forgotten retro game from the legendary developers over at Treasure.
Finally, Kevin closes things out with a spotlight on one of his all-time favorite competitive multiplayer games, as he revisits the original Super Mario Strikers on GameCube for the first time in ages.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We've got the full crew in the house for the first time in quite a while, and we've got all sorts of gaming goodies to discuss, so let's get rolling...
Kevin kicks things off with an update on his time with Cuphead, after polishing off the Delicious Last Course DLC in co-op mode with our old pal DJ, from the early days of the podcast!
John takes the reigns after that, and dives into a few games that he's been digging into after getting back home from a recent trip out west — primarily inspired by some of his recent, real-life snowboarding adventures in Utah.
Finally, Randall closes things out with some recent mountain-traversal of his own, as he spends some more time with Death Stranding, before ultimately throwing in the towel, at least for now...
