  • Save it for the 'cast! — Issue #105

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'

Kevin gets things started off with a quick round-up of a bunch of the games that he's been playing lately — including a couple of gems he's been checking out for the first time on his little ol' laptop, along with a few games he's been revisiting on Switch.

John & Randall jump into the conversation after that, and we get into a whole bunch of various gaming goodies — including the changes made to Super Mario 3D World on Switch, Wii U exclusives & physical copies, Sega Genesis games developed by Treasure Co., and much more...

  • 206: Brainless In A Beautiful Way

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  We've got the entire crew in the house once again this week, and all sorts of video games to discuss, so let's get right into the action!

John kicks things off with a dive into some of the PS2 era games from Nippon Ichi Software, with a primary focus on the Disgaea series & other games of a similar ilk.

After that, Kevin digs out his New 3DS once again and dives into Metroid: Samus Returns, which he is hopeful to see through (but knows deep down that it's unlikely).

Finally, Randall wraps things up with a smatter of games that he's been bouncing between lately — the original Luigi's Mansion on GameCube, along with a trio of games he's still been chipping away at.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels, and welcome back to another edition of 'Save it for the 'cast!'

John & Randall jump into the conversation after that, and we are truly all over the map this week — including reliving the early days of "next gen" gaming, various Wii U exclusives, quick Cuphead & Tetris Effect updates, and much more...

  • 205: Punching It Until It Goes Away

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  Everyone's back in the house once again this week and we've all been doing plenty of gaming lately, so let's get rolling!

Kevin gets things started off with a little Lonely Mountains: Downhill action, and is having a much smoother experience on Nintendo's new console.

After that, Randall digs into his resolution game for this year, after getting some quality time in with Yakuza 0, which he's also playing on his Switch 2.

John picks things up from there, and has a wonderful time poking around & making music in the adorable ODDADA.

And finally, Kevin closes things out with Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines — the sequel to one of his favorite indie platformers in recent memory.

  • 203: Interconnected World Chunks

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  We've got the full crew in the house once again with a trio of games to dig a little deeper into, so let's get right into it!

Randall gets things started off with a little Xbox Game Pass action, as he gets pulled back into Indiana Jones and the Great Circle after spending a little time away from the game.

John takes the baton from there, and dives into his first impressions on the latest game in the Fantasy Life series — and potentially talks both Randall & Kevin into joining in on the fun...

Finally, we wrap things up with a little Star Fox 64 discussion, as Kevin recently played through the entire game on 3DS — and also revisits the original N64 release, thanks the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass.
