Pursuit Church

What we have to come to terms with is the reality of why the creator of the universe God allows difficulty to become a real thing in our everyday lives.  Difficulty was never designed to put you to shame but rather to reveal things within us that stop God from moving in our lives.  God tell us that, "No chastening in the moment seems pleasant but rather painful, but later it yields the peaceable fruits of righteousness for those who have been trained by it, Hebrews 12:11."  Make sure to partner with us by sharing this video and subscribing to the Pursuit Church YouTube page.

So much of our day to day existence sadly revolves around chasing things that ultimately have little to no value.  The American dream has been designed from the beginning for us to obtain everything that our hearts desire WITHOUT God.  The moment we realize that there's nothing that truly matters outside the presence of Jesus Christ and His holiness is the moment that life sincerely becomes meaningful.  Thank you so much for your continued support by sharing this video.  Be sure to tune in next week and subscribe to the Pursuit Church's YouTube page.

So many American Christians have undoubtedly put their faith in Jesus but have also placed their hope in someone or something else.  The reason many of us are so burdened with stress in our lives is simply because we've placed our hope in things that will ultimately fail us in the end.  Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light", (Matthew 11:29-30 ESV).  Thank you for you generous partnership by sharing this video and subscribing to the Pursuit Church YouTube page.

Sometimes the easiest thing for humanity to ever do is to put themselves above anyone and anything regardless of who's affected.  Sin was such a powerful thing that divided us from God, that it caused us to be rebellious from within ourselves from the very beginning.   That rebel outside of the control of the Holy Spirit would rather divide then come together under the power of God's love.  Jesus said, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35)

The word "LOVE" has to be one of the most misunderstood and undervalued words in all of history.  The scriptures remind us that through the love of Jesus Christ He has the ability to break strongholds, cover a multitude of sin, mend hearts and even change minds through His love.  God's love through us has the supernatural ability to not only affect lives in the now but even in the age to come.  Be sure to partner with us by sharing this video and subscribing to the Pursuit Church"s YouTube page.

Have you ever felt like that because you weren't changing the world in the moment or that you weren't speaking the gospel to thousands of people that your life wasn't producing real fruit?  Jesus said, "As long as you abide in me that I will give you a life that will always bear fruit"; John 15:4.  Real victory is understanding that once the journey begins that God Himself will prevent less of you from coming along with Him and will prune the things off of you that do more damage in your life than good.  Thank you for partnering with us in this season by sharing this video and subscribing to the Pursuit Church's YouTube page.

Somewhere along the way as American Christians, we have seemed to forget that the most powerful way to transfer power from heaven to earth is through our ability to pray.  Jesus reminds us that when we pray to our Father who sees us in secret that He in fact meets us in our faithful act of obedience; Matthew 6:6.  So over this next week during what we like to call "Closed Door Despereation", we would like you to partner with us spiritually by seeking the Lord's face through prayer and fasting so that He may continue to order our steps moving into what believe may be a new season for our church.  Please be sure to subscribe to Pursuit Church's Youtube page and share this message.

Have you honestly ever felt like everytime trouble comes into your life that it's the devil that seems to always gets the blame?  There is such a power in reshaping our thinking to believe that the more persecution God allows to come into our life is actually an opportunity for Him to mature and preserve us in a different way; Romans 5:3.  Be sure to partner with us here at Pursuit Church by subscribing to our YouTube channel and sharing this video.

Have you've ever felt like you've been in those seasons of life where the Lord is no longer speaking when it comes to your marriage, your children or even your calling?  If so then remember that God moving is never dependent upon your faithfulness but the faithfulness of Almighty God.  What we can be confident in is that He who began a good work in us will carry it out until the day of Christ Jesus; Philippians 1:6.  Partner with us by sharing this video and subscribing to the Pursuit Church's YouTube page.

Life as we know for all believers will grow more and more difficult as time progresses.  In fact, Jesus warns the disciples of this reality and reminds all of them that regardless of how challenging times get that their faith in who God is and who God has called them to be must remain; Matthew 16:24.  True and genuine holiness begins with the resolve not to bow your knees to anyone but Jesus Christ.  Be sure to listen to this new episode in our series titled "Heart of Worship".
