We continue with our study of the purpose behind the Mosaic law, this time looking at the purity laws regarding diet, and touching dead bodies.

This message is the second half of a message about the seven feast days of the Old Testament, and how they are fulfilled in Christ.

The law that God gave Moses was comprised of three types of law; Civil, ceremonial, and moral laws.  And all of them were completed and fulfilled in Christ.  In this message we are looking at the Sabbath laws.

When we look at the ceremonial law of the Old Testament; sacrifices, tabernacle, and priesthood are fulfilled in Christ.

In this message we consider the sacrifices in the ceremonial law of Israel and how they are fulfilled in Christ.

In this third message about the Mosaic law we continue to ask the question, "How much of the Old Testament law is the Christian supposed to follow?"  We've divided the Old Testament law into three categories; civil, ceremonial, and moral.  And this is our final sermon looking at the civil law.

We are continuing to search for the answer to the question, "What part of the Old Testament does the Christian have to follow?"  We've divided Old Testament Law into Civil, Ceremonial, and Moral laws.  This is our second message about the Civil law.  And what we discover about the Old Testament Civil law is that there is a principle behind the law that still applies to us.  But the application of the principle, described in the law, was for Israel, at a specific time and place; the Old Testament era.

After the Passover, the Children of Israel left Egypt, and eventually ended up at Mount Sinai.  There God gave them the law; not just the 10 commandments, but hundreds of laws to govern their civil, moral, and ceremonial life.

But what is a Christian supposed to do with all these laws?  

This message concludes our look at the ten plagues of Egypt, and our look at the Passover and the Lord's table.
