We live in a world with a short attention span by design. Social networks, for example, need you to scroll for them to make more money. Content makers get hurt by this because they get a few seconds of your attention at best.

Please slow down and appreciate the content they make. Here are my thoughts and hopes that you will consider.

I cannot stress how important it is to get back as much time as you can, automating repetitive tasks will give you back more time and creative space than you realize. I’ll give a couple of examples, one saves me doing 11 tasks every time I publish a podcast episode.

I use my creativity as a way to not only make things but help me relax. After all, should we not enjoy creating things rather than stress out about them? I share one of the ways I like to do it and hope to spark some thoughts for you on how you can do it too.

This question came up as a topic of conversation this week. Does having a place to call home on the Internet still matter in a world full of social networks? I have some very firm thoughts on this as a content maker.

The brain has two modes, on the left we have all the logical things, and on the right, the creative things. It's important to figure out which kind of a day you are having to get the most from your tasks and creativity.

A few thoughts on figuring this out and making the most of it.

As creatives we have very busy lives, often that involves tasks we would rather not be doing or we are less than great at. So maybe we need to consider if that task is better delegated our outsourced so we can focus on the things WE need to be doing?

A few thoughts and suggestions on the topic.

Sometimes the best thing for a project is starting over. Maybe it is not going the way you want it or perhaps you want to pivot to a totally different direction and trying to rework what you have will take more effort than ripping it all down to a clean page and starting over.

An easy question with a complicated answer depending on who you ask.

So here are my thoughts on it, as an example, I used some smart software to record and edit this podcast.
