"Hey guys!! So my husband and I moved into our house in the fall and this is going to be our very first summer with a pool. It was one of the things we were most excited about when we got the house, but now we've got a big problem. We opened it a couple of weeks ago and while we were enjoying it for the first time our neighbors who were hanging out in their backyard started chatting us up. Trying to be nice and neighborly we invited them over for a swim. They jumped at the chance and we had a good time, but my husband said something to them he's now really regretting. He told them, "come use it whenever you want". He thought he was just being nice and they wouldn't take what he said literally, but ever since they've been stopping over nearly every day that it's been nice out. Over the weekend we came back from a family BBQ and they had a bunch of people over. This is a total savage move, right? Now we have to figure out how to let them know they're taking advantage of us."
What do you think? Are the neighbors being savage or sensible?
